Starting a small candle?

I would like to start a small family business with my sisters to share poured jar candles and cupcake ideas on how or where to start? Where would we get a logo and printed labels? how we split the profits? How can we decide what to charge for our product?

There are many details that go into creating a business. It becomes even more complicated when you have business partners. Here are some points to consider: 1. Identify local and state enterprises and manufacturing licenses (many areas do business or manufacture in certain areas designated property, especially with something flammable and potentially dangerous as candles) 2. Sit in the liability insurance - Candles can cause fires - especially if you are inexperienced and do not know what you are doing! 3. Especially with partners, you want to watch in forming an LLC for your business with a partnership agreement drawn up by a lawyer 4. The current research and future trends in candles and home fragrance products - You want your prodiucts be ahead of trends - not behind them 5. Determine your start-up costs for supplies and materials and remember to include additional funds for the "mistakes" since you'll end up throwing a bad batch "that you will learn 6. Budget for marketing materials, as catalogs, brochures, website and marketing costs for your products 7. Consider strategies for how you market your products and compete with companies with brand recognition and a loyal customer base. Want to market through home parties, craft shows or online? What makes your product unique or better than the competition? If nobody buys, you can not make money. 8. You can consider joining an independent representative or distributor for an existing candle for a year or two to get a "hands-on" education on industry and marketing methods. The poem in Shantaram?

Does anyone know if this poem / poet are real, or if Gregory David Roberts simply wrote the book? I mean the poem Lin Karla read in the paper: to ensure no leads to follow when I used my hair to cover our tracks. Sunset Island our night eating echoes pink bed and we were stranded there, in tangles of flicker, candles whispering in the back of driftwood. Your eyes Above me, afraid of the truth, at least we said the lie that we have not. I went in depth, I went in depth to fight against the past for you. Now we both know penalties are the seeds of love. Now we both know, I live and die for that love.

Ah ... In the book he credits to "A Sufi poet, Sadiq Khan. Persistent Googling refuses to give any answers as to whether a poet Sadiq Khan ever. Tsk. deadlock. However, I would not put it past Gregory David Roberts have sprung from the poetry and fiction of his head. Most literally Shantaram broke his head. "The event took place, but most people and the dialogue has never existed. It is "slightly" autobiographical. This is probably the best and worst thing about the book - the author has written both by air - and boring as it is written so from scratch. Back to poetry - from the authors website under the "poetry section:" In all the Sufi poetry and mystical writings, there is clearly passionate romantic level of understanding. But there is also a deeper layer of interpretation, where writing refers to the poet's love for God. "Then - it is a big fan of Sufi poetry. Maybe Sadiq Khan has existed - but - now - he there is no way to find the truth. But he also wanted to write poems to be included in an anthology he wanted out of a collection edition, in late 2005. So - yes - he writes poems. Thus the poem may be his. Nearly 60% sure. Is more close I could reach a "concrete" response:)
