How to get left over candle wax out?

We bought 300 rolly poly votive holders and three cases have left over wax in them, is there a simpler way to remove it than freezing the votive holders. It won’t look very nice to place a new candle in them, and then place on the tables at the reception.

Just run some hot water over the waxy areas. The wax should melt right off!

  2. Tweb Guru Says:

Boil water on the stove, and hold them under the water with some tongs, the wax should slip out once it gets hot enough.

I would try a hair dryer and whip off while wax is warm.Good luck.
